Shipping Information of Organic Grocery Items to your Door Nationwide delivery throughout the U.S. |

We offer over 8000 items. Until now we have been a local delivery service in south Florida, from the Keys through to West Palm Beach. Because of continued requests, we are now beginning to ship via UPS. PLEASE NOTE: We are ONLY shipping shelf stable items at this time. We CANNOT ship highly perishable items, produce, refrigerated and frozen items. We can ship via USPS but that will cause delay in shipping since we must contact them to pick up and they do not always pick up in a timely manner. We normally use UPS to ship orders. Unlike other sites that charge based upon the total, we simply charge the UPS rate. Rates are reasonable and based upon your ship to address as well as the weight and size of your order. When you order by noon, your order will ship out within two business days as long as nothing is on back order and we are not awaiting your reply to an email with any questions. If you order perishable items, your order will move out of queue until we have time to contact you and ask if you want us to cancel your entire order or ship just those items that are shelf stable and shippable without a cooler and ice packs. If an item you ordered is on back order, your order will move out of queue until we reach you about this or see if it arrives if expected. Though we stock every item on our site, we only keep a limited supply in order to offer you the freshest product possible. We do sell out, which is a good thing. We rotate through our stock constantly and while we do anticipate having these items in stock, they may have sold out in an order just before you, or they may not have arrived in good condition for us to ship it to you. If something is not available for your shipment, we will wait until the following Monday to see if the item arrives before contacting you to let you know one way or the other. Therefore, if your delivery is time sensitive and you need it by a certain time, please mention that in the comments section so that we are sure to keep in communication with you in case something does not become available to ship out to you in a timely manner. If for some reason the item has been discontinued or we are still not able to offer you that item after four weeks, we will cancel your order and advise you via email. We do apologize if this occurs but usually these things are out of our control as the manufacturers and distributors continually change product offerings and availibility. Normally, your order for shelf stable items will ship out within two business days and you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number and receive the item shortly thereafter. Please double check your order to make sure that it is accurate. Double check your name, ship to address, bill to address, quantity of each item, and that you ordered exactly what you wanted. We cannot take responsibility for items misdelivered due to your mistake in inputting the ship to address. We are not liable for mistakes made in quantities or items ordered. We will pack exactly what you order and ship it to the address you input so please double check your order confirmation. If you find you made a mistake, email us quickly so that we can correct it for you before we ship it to you. SHELF STABLE ITEMS & NONPERISHABLE ITEMS: Nonperishable and shelf stable items will be shipped via UPS ground. We are only shipping shelf stable and nonperishable items at this time. We are not shipping any produce, refrigerated, frozen or highly perishable items. We will only ship chocolate in the colder months; we will NOT ship chocolate in the summer. Why have I not heard anything? Is my order going to ship? You will always get an email confirmation when you place your order. Please review it. You will always get a tracking number email confirmation once your order has been shipped. If you do not get this within the time allocated above for shipping out orders, you may call or email us to find out what has happened to your order. If you do not hear from us in some time, we apologize for the lack of communication. Sometimes an item is on backorder and instead of contacting you immediately, we wait a week or two to see if it arrives. We can ship the rest of your order without the items on back order if you prefer. We will always try to contact you by the third week to find out what you want us to do. We are working on a system to contact you more immediately when items are on backorder to get your preference. We ship out on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays as a general rule. If something is on backorder or if we need to delete produce, frozen or refrigerated items, this might delay the shipping of your package. We will ship your usually by 2 - 5 days out absolutely no later than one month after you submit it. If we are unable to fulfill it by then, we will cancel your order and email you a confirmation of that. If you ordered frozen or refrigerated foods, your order would move out of queue until we get an email or call from you confirming that you do want the delivery without those items. Our site states that we do not ship frozen or refrigerated items at this time. We do our best to email and call but do not have the manpower to continue to follow up and rely upon you to respond. If you notice that you ordered perishable or frozen items before we have a chance to contact you, please call or email us to let us know what you want us to do with your order. If we do not hear back within 3 weeks, we may cancel your entire order or we may ship the portion of your order that is not perishable. We are not shipping perishable or frozen items as a general rule. We cannot ship produce, however, during the cold months we can ship citrus. In the future we may also ship frozen items via UPS next day or 2nd day air. There were be an additional charge of $25 per cooler, and cost for the proper amount of dry ice for your order (dry ice costs $1.50/lb and most orders require 3-5lbs) to keep frozen items frozen while they travel to you. Frozen items will be shipped separately from other items to save you shipping costs. However, if you are within a 2-3 day delivery area as per UPS ground schedule (picture on this page), and you want us to ship bread or things that may be perishable but can be left out of refrigeration a few days, and you are willing to take responsibility in case it does not arrive to you in good condition, we will ship it to you during the colder months. We will never ship these items during the summer or warmer months. We have not had any major issues shipping bread and tortillas in the colder months, but we do recommend you wait until we are shipping in Styrofoam coolers with ice packs to make sure they arrive to you in good condition. However, we have had requests to ship and when close to our ship from area, they have arrived in good condition ground. If you require that we ship these things and you live further away, we recommend you request next day air to make sure these items arrive to you in good condition. We cannot take responsibility if you request we ship bread ground to Arizona, for example, but if you are in FL and you order bread, we will ship it since it will arrive within one day. Either way, we will only ship orders on MONDAY or TUESDAY with bakery items and more perishable items like that so that it won't sit in a hot UPS warehouse over the weekend. Most items are kept in stock. We get deliveries throughout the week with the majority arriving on Monday and Tuesday. If something is on back order or is not in for your delivery, we will contact you (usually via email) to find out if you prefer to wait for it's arrival or to choose a suitable replacement. SHIPPING DATES & APPROXIMATE TIME FOR DELIVERY ARRIVAL:
We ship orders out on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Orders placed by 10am will be shipped out within 2 or 3 days of our next shipping business day from our warehouse in Miami Lakes, FL 33014. So if you order on Tuesday at 11am, it will ship out by the following Tuesday. If you need us to expedite it and ship it out for you sooner, please email or call us and we'll put you ahead of the other orders and ship out quicker. Thank you for your interest, however, at this time we do not ship outside of the United States. Once your order is pulled and packed and shipped to you you will see an email confirmation with your UPS tracking number. Unlike some other companies who base their shipping rates on the total dollar value of your order, we charge based upon distance and weight. Shipping Rates are the UPS rates determined by the weight of your order and the ship to zip code from our shipping zip code of 33014. There are no hidden shipping charges. You will be charged a fair amount for shipping. We never offer free shipping. Remember that we are not shipping refrigerated, produce, or frozen items at this time as they would add on an overnight delivery charge for anyone outside of Florida. If you lucky enough to be anywhere in Florida, UPS will deliver next day at the same rates listed on our chart so we can probably deliver some perishables to you. There will be a cooler fee and nominal dry ice or ice pack charge added to securely pack those things for fresh delivery to you. As stated on our site before you check out, our standard $9.95 delivery fee will automatically be added to every order. This is our LOCAL delivery fee, and is quite reasonable. If you are picking up your order, we delete this fee. If you are outside our local delivery area and we are shipping your order to you, we will charge you the shipping rate NOT the local delivery fee. You will not be charged the $9.95 plus the shipping fee. ONLY the shipping rate will be added to your order. The computer does not differentiate if you are picking up, getting a local delivery, or having your order shipped to you so now just adds the standard $9.95 to every order but we will remove that and add the shipping rate instead if we are shipping the package to you. The shipping rate may be more or less than the $9.95, depending upon where you are located and the weight of your order. Please understand also that you may be charged extra if you order an extra large or unusually sized item, even if it is light, as UPS charges extra for odd size boxes. On average* shipping tends to be: by TRANSIT DAYS & approximate WEIGHT for UPS ground: *This is just an approximate amount. Sometimes it's a little more and many times it's been less. If you are in a very rural area, you know who you are, shipping costs more. Big city and shipping to offices costs less. We weigh your package and use the UPS rates. If you have an oversized package, UPS charges extra. If you are getting a lot of glass or if you are getting frozen or items that need to be packaged in a Styrofoam cooler, the pricing may be more, but this has been the average of most orders and is based upon rates with UPS. Please link here to calculate your shipping rates with UPS using your zip code as the TO address and our zip code of 33014 as the from and input the approximate weights to calculate your shipping amount. Keep in mind that the box and packaging will add a little to the order weight as well. **This is the days to ship as per the UPS site as per the shipping picture above on this page. Remember that this is the approximate transit time ONCE we have shipped your order. If you get your order in by 10am, we will ship out within 2 business days if it is for shelf stable items and everything is in stock. We only ship Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If you order produce, frozen or refrigerated items, this will delay the shipment of your order as we wait to hear from you about canceling that part or all of your order. If something is on backorder, we will email you within 2 business days of an estimated time of arrival of that item. ***Hawaii and Alaska incur extra charges. If the item is an odd size or over sized, extra charges apply as per UPS. The
estimate you get from inputting the above information will be pretty accurate.
If you want us to contact you with the exact shipping amount before we send your
order, please advise in the comments section before you check out and we'll be
happy to do that so that you can approve the shipping rate before we send it out
to you. To make sure it does not melt, we may have to send chocolate NEXT DAY air and add ice packs. Therefore, chocolate will most probably incur additional shipping charges to cover the cost of next day and the cost of the ice pack and perhaps a styrofoam cooler. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION about your order for Shipping: Check your email confirmation for your order as it will be pulled exactly as you order it. We will not be responsible for errors made in ordering the wrong items or the wrong quantity of each item. Confirm the ship to and bill to address when submitting your order. Please double check to be sure you included the building number, apartment or condo number, zip code, phone number, street address, etc. We will not be responsible for items delivered to the wrong address because you mistakenly input the wrong address. UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box. Be sure to include the address including apartment numbers, condos, building numbers or any other information UPS may need to make your delivery. If UPS cannot deliver due to a lack of information, you may be charged extra as we work with UPS to complete your ship to area or you may be responsible for the full order even if it does not get to you properly. If your package is returned to us as undeliverable because of an error you input in the shipping address, we will contact you to correct the address and you will be charged the shipping fee again to redeliver it. If you choose to cancel your order, you will be charged a 20% restocking fee and you will still be responsible for the original shipping fee as we sent it out to you properly. We will not be responsible for the wrong item or quantity arriving to you if you make a mistake in ordering. We will not be held liable for deliveries to you where you are not there to accept your delivery. We can add that your package be delivered with a signature required for an extra $2.50. If you don't want us to do that, you waive our responsibility and the responsibility of UPS since we left it without a signature. Please specify in notes when you check out if you want to add a SIGNATURE REQUIRED and $2.50 to your order for delivery. Once an order is submitted for shipping, you can place an additional order for shipping together as long as that order has not already been packed up for delivery, otherwise they will ship separately. We will always combine multiple orders for the same delivery address and delivery day unless specifically asked not to do so. If you need to cancel or change an order once it is submitted, there is a 20% restocking fee if the order has already been pulled and packed for shipment. We are very careful and double check all orders before packing. We check date of product as well as UPC and name of product to make sure your order is pulled properly. Then someone else double checks your order. It is very rare that we make an error since we have such a strict pull and pack system, but if you receive the wrong product or order, we are very sorry. Please contact us immediately via email or call us at 305-823-5775 so that we can fix it for you. Ship the order back to us in the same package we shipped to you. Make sure to pack it back up carefully and wrap any items that were wrapped. When we receive the shipment back in unopened and good condition, we will check to see how you received the wrong order. We will then then credit the original and return shipping charges and ship out the correct order to you. Your order gets packed as per UPS specifications. If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason (the order arrived damaged, items were missing, items were not what you expected, ingredients changed), you must contact us within 24 hours. If you want to return something, contact us via email or phone us at 305-823-5775, and then you may return the item for credit toward a future order. Ship the unopened item back to us: 5808 NW 163rd Street, Miami, Lakes, 33014. You will return it to us at your expense. Make sure it is unopened and packaged properly as we cannot give credit if the item is returned opened, used, or damaged. There is no credit for shipping charges, neither the charges for shipping the item to you nor the shipping charges you incurred for return of the item. If the items arrives to you damaged, you will have to file a claim with UPS. We will assist you but unless you choose to purchase insurance for the package, we cannot guarantee you will get the value of your purchase. If they refund us, however, we will gladly replace it for you. NOTE ABOUT DISCOUNTED DATED ITEMS: Items are always packed in good condition and are not dated unless you specifically choose one of the discounted "dated" items. We always open one of the dated items before we sell them to make sure they are still good and will not send if they are not good on the day we pack them but please use promptly as they probably will not last much longer. You may return any item at your own expense for credit toward future orders. Item must be returned in good, undamaged, and resellable, sealed condition. You will be responsible for return shipping charges incurred to return your order for credit. No credit is given for shipping charges to you or package returned to us. Credit will be item charged less 20% restocking fee. Credit is given as a credit code toward future orders. We will not accept return for credit of any opened item, item not in good resellable condition, damaged item, dated item, nor return of any personal care item that is not sealed. We do not credit for things you purchase but "just don't like" since we cannot guarantee that every person will enjoy every product we offer. What if I change my mind and just refuse the shipment? We work very hard to fulfill your order completely. If you do not cancel your order in advance in writing or over the phone (and with an email confirmation) and you simply decide to refuse your shipment that you had ordered, you may be responsible for the FULL amount of your order. If you refuse the shipment and it is returned to us in good condition with the package being unopened, you will be responsible for the shipping fee to you and return fee back to us as well as 10% restocking fee. If you ordered bread, bakery or perishable items and we shipped them to you (this is mostly for customers within FL), you will also be responsible for the FULL cost of any items or other perishable items that you ordered and were included and were not returned to us in good condition (and it's highly likely that the extra time in shipping will cause them to go bad so you will be charged in full for any bread, fresh cookies, yogurt and any other perishable items shipped to you.) We will send you a store credit to be used on future orders for the difference. In our ongoing effort to reduce-reuse-recycle, you will find that we ship out to you in boxes that were previously shipped to us. Our packaging isn't pretty, and that's a good thing, but it is effective and sturdy. We reuse boxes and packaging material. We recycle boxes that are not reused or after they are returned to us reused. We minimize packaging whenever possible but do adhere to packaging specifications as set by UPS for safe delivery to you. When you order something that needs extra packaging, things in glass, for example, we will pack each one in sufficient paper and packaging peanuts to make sure it gets to you safely. The peanuts and bubble wrap are reused or made of recycled materials. Since it take extra time to package glass properly for shipment, we may add on an extra charge of 5-10% of the cost of the glass item to offset the cost associated with the extra packaging time and materials we use.
