In the new Snakker (raw version of the Snicker) Bar they use peanuts. When I asked them about it, they reassured me that they had asked a Raw Doctor and the Peanut Council about the toxin found on peanuts farmed in the south and only get organic peanuts from New Mexico. The aflotoxin is not seen growing in arid climates like New Mexico so we felt comfortable offering these products. Further, they said "The peanut are still in their brown skin and very moist and taste like legumes, which they actually are."
