The nose knows. EO is quality.  Their genuine and authentic essential oils are the real thing.  While other synthetic or "fragrance" oil counterparts may smell pleasant, they have little or no therapeutic effect and are often mixed with petrochemicals.  Other companies use those because they cost so much less than true essential plant oils which can be quite expensive.  EO use only ingredients that are absolutely essential; and they won't compromise the quality or purity of thier products by using less expensive synthetic fragrances, dyes or fillers. They use the "finest" plant ingredients when the "best" truly enhances the fragrant or therapeutic performance of the product.

Information = informed choices. They believe in true labeling, with all ingredients listed in descending order.

Bubbles, bubbles. Ever wonder what makes those suds so sudsy? Most manufacturers use one of two foaming agents that are the subject of controversy in personal care products. Both sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) are inexpensive and have cleansing and foaming properties that make them popular staples in many shampoos, cleansers, body washes and even toothpastes. In higher concentration, these same ingredients are used in industrial cleaners. EO believes that there are enough potential risks surrounding SLS and SLES that they should not be ignored. Fortunately, there are many comparable alternatives that are naturally derived from coconut oil.

EO Soaps

Bar Soaps. Soaps crafted in the old-fashioned tradition of soap-making, true "soap" contains no detergents, surfactants or sulfates. EO believes in the purity of their soaps, so they do not use artificial colors or synthetic fragrances. Much like the slight imperfections of nature itself, the color and texture of our pure soaps may vary slightly.

EO pure soaps contain purified water, pure vegetable glycerin and vegetable oils, sorbitol, sodium hydroxide, oatmeal (oatmeal soaps only) and essential oils. Pure glycerin is a natural skin-softener and humectant, and our vegetable glycerin is kosher.

HandSoap.  EO liquid HandSoap is naturally skin-cleansing and moisturizing. They combine pure essential oils with a purified water infusion of Tea Tree (known for its natural skin-cleansing qualities), Lavender and Chamomile to create this gentle, nourishing HandSoap. It is safe for everyday use by the whole family.

  When I asked them about the small amount of parabens and the EDTA, they responded: 

"We use less than 1% of Parabens. Parabens:  Is a Preservative, protects products from microbial contamination.  If we do not put this very small amount in our products you would have to keep them in the refrigerator.  Disodium EDTA- Chelation agent. Complexes metal ions to help preclude oxidation and enhance the activity of preservatives.  We are always trying to better our products.
