Red Mellow
Bush Rooibos, a pure, natural, caffeine-free herbal tea, rich in antioxidants, is made by Numi- founded by a brother/sister team for whom making tea is a labor of love. Known as the ""Miracle Tea,"" Rooibos is indigenous to the Cederberg mountain high desert region in the western Cape of South Africa; the only place in the world it's grown. This small leguminous shrub has needle like leaves, fine stems and tiny yellow flowers. Sun dried, Rooibos is processed like traditional teas. Teasan, derived from the French, tisane, is Numi's term for a brewed herbal beverage with no tea leaves. Rooibos has no additives, preservatives or colourounts, has a light vanilla scent and yields a rich orange brew. Rooibos' health benefits are numerous. In-vitro tests in Japan show that it exhibits anti-mutagenic properties and retards growth of certain tumors. Ginger Oolong Tea Throughout its 3000 year old history, ginger has long been called a gift of the gods. Evoking a sense of clarity and purity this invigorating root is used in Chinese medicine to enhance tea. Tea comes from a single plant, the Camellia Sinensis.
