While we waive your delivery fee for each new person you refer who places an order, you may want to get more involved than that with Delicious Organics.  We are always looking for good people who want to work with us as we expand our services and selection. 

• Long-term and short-term positions may be available. 

• Part-Time and Full-Time positions may be available. 

• Daytime weekday hours. 

We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and offer you a position that you find challenging and fun.  We are looking for good people who care about healthy living.  Pay is hourly right now plus substantial discounts on everything we offer (including special order of things we don't usually offer) but we can also create salaried positions and we are working on benefits for full-timers.

JOB OPENINGS in South Florida - Broward and Miami Dade County - work based in North Miami Beach:

PERSONAL SHOPPER POSITION is open for someone who:

• is personable and interacts well with people,
• is organized, dependable, and courteous,
• can read a list and be meticulous about completing task lists thoroughly,
• cares about the people for whom we provide this service and can take a special interest in requests,
• asks questions when unsure,
• has no criminal record,
• can take direction well,
• can offer suggestions for improvement,
• is punctual and hard working,
• nonsmoker,
• and has references.
• Hours:  7am - 3pm, Monday - Friday (more hours also available as well as later starting hours)
  
  Job includes picking groceries for customers and choosing only the best fruit and vegetables, and packing orders carefully with attention to detail, stocking shelves, counting boxes, moving deliveries to door for driver to take, and help where needed with inventory and growth of company. We need someone who is punctual, hard working, meticulous (double checking orders and asking questions if unsure) and personable. • has experience being a produce manager or working with produce, especially organic produce,
• knows how to care for produce properly and knows when to reject shipments that are not up to par,
• keeps walk-in cooler well-organized,
• keeps careful inventory of produce,
• is personable and interacts well with people,
• is organized, dependable, careful, and courteous,
• cares about the people for whom we provide this service and can take a special interest in requests and following up on answering questions accurately,
• has no criminal record,
• is punctual and hard working,

• and has references.
• Hours:  8am - 3pm, Monday - Friday
  
  Job includes working with our staff, farms, suppliers and vendors in placing accurate orders and taking inventory when things arrive noting quality and refusing anything that does not meet our standards. PASTRY CHEF and/or CHEF/CATERER for someone who:

• makes delicious foods,
• is creative and doesn't necessarily need a recipe,
• knows how to search for a recipe and make it turn out the way it should,
• has experience with pastries, cakes, decorating cakes,
• has experience with planning events with how much food will feed how many people,
• a food handler's license a plus,
• experience with working with financials in catering or good with numbers a plus ,
• is creative at putting meals together for staff with excess we have on hand,
• is personable and interacts well with people,
• is organized, dependable, careful, and courteous,
• cares about the people for whom we provide this service and can take a special interest in requests and following up on answering questions accurately,
• has no criminal record,
• is punctual and hard working,

DISPATCHER for someone who:

• can work with maps and drivers,
• can help plan routes and schedule runs in a timely manner,
• is organized and can make sure routes and customer orders match coolers packed accurately
• is dependable, careful, and courteous,
• cares about the people for whom we provide this service and can take a special interest in timing delivery requests,
• has no criminal record,
• is punctual and hard working,
• nonsmoker,
• and has references.
• Hours:  9am - 3pm, Monday - Friday (possibility of Friday off too)
  
  Job includes working with our staff and in particular drivers in making sure their route is planned properly, customers know when to expect deliveries, maps are planned in a logical order, orders are printed with accurate cooler numbers in place. SHOPPER-PACKER-SHIPPER POSITION open for someone who:

• is meticulous with carefully packing items so they won't break in shipment,
• is organized and careful with reading lists and making sure orders are complete and accurate,
• is hard working and dependable,
• asks questions when unsure,
• is on time,
• is courteous,
• can speak to customers to get clarification when needed,
• is timely in getting things done and will get orders out and keep up on shipping lists,
• has some shipping and/or packing experience to help us expand into shipping first non-perishable items and later, perhaps, perishables,
• nonsmoker,
• and has good references.
• Hours:  9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm, Monday - Friday
  
  Job includes customer service and answering questions, speaking to customers and guiding them on best items for their needs,  keeping up with inventory and ordering the right amount to meet customer demand, packing orders properly and carefully, making sure orders are packed accurately and are complete, assist and suggestions for growth of company. • is strong and can carry boxes for delivery,

• Hours:  9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm, Monday - Thursday (and may be able to make Friday hours too)
  
  Job includes customer service and answering questions, unloading groceries for customers carefully and helping put them away if necessary, stocking shelves, counting boxes, keeping list of coolers still out, calling after each delivery, keeping track of any customer concerns or recommended items, moving boxes from shopper to door and packing van, and help where needed with store inventory and growth of company.
